A proxy is also created when you issue a command that unloads a custom object's parent application. If you do not want this warning to appear, set PROXYNOTICE to 0.
You should set XLOADCTL to 2 pour enable demand-loading; a copy of the reference file is opened. tip: demand-loading with copy allows someone to work on an XREF used by someone else drawing.
